It does what it is supposed to

This is more of a dual touch than a multi-touch monitor. Its downsides are that it is hard to touch precisely the right spot (not the fault of the monitor) and that the touch activates before you actually touch it so hovering can make unwanted things happen. Aside from that, the is a beautiful clear monitor with no dead pixels and comes with everything that you would want in a monitor. Plus, you get touch control. It has another benefit. If you want to use a display monitor for a business, this one is great because it comes with drivers for a virtual keyboard so you would not have to have a keyboard or mouse; just this monitor. Not good for typing documents but great for filling out forms.

Great Value and Performance, Fine with Vista

So I hooked this up to a MS Vista PC and it worked right out of the box. Note you must have the USB cable connected for the touch screen to work. I didn't need to do any software installation or calibration - it auto-configured and works as expected!

I imagine there are some advanced capabilities that may require some tweaking, but we just need simple click and drag functionality.

I also like that the touch functionality is based on infrared sensors in the corners, not in the screen itself...makes me think this will stand up well to the kids poking at it!

The picture is nice and crisp with good colors. I would give it 5 stars if the speakers had more power; they are borderline inadequate.

Very Reasonable Touchscreen Monitor

This Acer product has worked well for the two months that I've owned it. It can turn any computer that runs Windows 7 into touchscreen operation. It is exactly as advertised.

Would be great if it could render black/white better

I bought this monitor to replace an aging NEC MultiSync 20WMGX2. I noticed the monitor couldn't render black as soon as it powered on. There wasn't a delayed reaction, it was very apparent. Other than that this monitor isn't bad. However, since it can't render black correctly I'll not be keeping it very long. I'll probably pass it on to a family member and get another NEC.

I've emailed Acer to complain about the color reproduction problems on this monitor. There's no reason why an expensive monitor like this can't reproduce black.

No dead/stuck pixels, that's a plus.

I'm somewhat disappointed honestly.

Acer Touchscreen

Overall very easy to set up and use . The instructions provided in box were very limited though. Only unhappiness is the price dropped a few days after I bought it.
